Approval of a Resolution Approving Agreement No. 1 to the TIF Development Agreement with Highwoods Village Development LLC, to (i) extend the milestone and completion deadlines, and (ii) revise the Developer’s obligations from a $10,000,000 expenditure in Total Development Costs to $10,000,000 taxable value created by the development as determined by Tarrant Appraisal District.

The Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD) provides revenue from a ½-cent sales tax dedicated to funding programs aimed at reducing and preventing crime in Fort Worth. The district was established in 1995 following high crime rates that occurred in the late 1980s.
The current term expires Sept. 30, 2020. The July 14 election asks whether to continue the district for a 10-year term.

With covid-19 lay-offs, limited work schedules and children at home all day, many families are now food insecure. They need our help.
Ron and Cindy Brewington Clapp are collecting food, paper products and cleaning products for the food pantry at St John the Apostle Church. Church services are online, so weekly donations are down significantly. Couple that with the tremendous need at this time, and the food pantry goes bare by the end of the week.
Cindy and Ron will keep a bin on their front porch as a collection place. If you feel so inclined, feel free to drop off your donations to the food pantry. No cash or gift cards, please. The pantry needs peanut butter, pasta, canned vegetables, canned fruits and canned meats, diapers, formula, cleaning products, toilet paper, cereal, powdered milk, bread, coffee, tea, soups, rice, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, etc. You get the idea.
Drop off during daylight hours. If you drop off fresh fruit or vegetables, text Cindy so she can refrigerate until she takes to the food pantry.

project or an issue within the community. Attendance at our
monthly WNA Steering Committee Meetings would be welcomed
when Legal Chair’s schedule permits.
Marker Monitors: Boca Raton Blvd. & Bridgewood Drive
Marker Monitors assist with clearing trash from the marker areas
between weekly maintenance provided by Mike Carter and his
Team. Water leaks quickly reported drastically reduce the monthly
water bills at each of the 5 marker areas. It is suggested that the
Marker Monitor wear gloves and take a trash bag when checking
Marker area/s.
